Collection: IOD STAMPS & INK

IOD Décor Stamps bring beautiful detail to furniture, fabric, walls and creative projects. Use paint for a fuller impression or IOD Décor Ink for finer, more translucent detail. Try them in wet clay for added texture.

Prepare: Before first use, leave stamps on their backing and lightly scuff the stamping surface with a fine-grit sanding block in two directions. This helps paint and ink spread evenly.

Mount: Use a thin mount for lettering and flat surfaces, or flexible backing for uneven surfaces. Leave texture sheets on their backing. For individual designs, cut the backing around each stamp, rounding the corners. Keep stamps and mounts clean so they cling securely.

Stamp: Apply paint evenly with a brayer or pat on ink with a stamp pad. Position carefully, press evenly without shifting, then lift straight up. Practise on a spare surface first.

Ink pads: Shake the ink bottle, apply ink around the pad in smaller and smaller rectangles, then work it in with the bottle tip. Use a separate pad for each colour and store pads upside down.

Care: Wipe stamps promptly, then wash with mild soap and warm water. Return clean stamps to their backing for storage. Avoid dishwashers and high heat.

Food projects: Use edible gel paste and keep a separate set of stamps exclusively for food.
